ABOUT ME

I’ve written about artists, adventurers and change-makers for publications including the Guardian, the Observer, the BBC, Vice, Entrepreneur and Huck.

This work has involved climbing aboard a catamaran to talk to an endurance swimmer, hanging out with a roller derby team in Beirut, riding dirt bikes in a field in Wales, tracking down an elusive baker in New Orleans and camping at the Standing Rock reservation in North Dakota during the pipeline protests.

I’ve also helped brands like The North Face, Accenture, WeTransfer, Skillshare, Space Capital, Google and Red Bull tell their stories, through:

  • Editorial-style features
  • White papers and e-books
  • Blog posts
  • Case studies
  • Speeches and pitches

I was honoured with a runner-up prize at the UK Freelance Writing Awards in 2021, and a scholarship from the UK and European space agencies in 2020 to study at the International Space University in Strasbourg.

I have a Bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Cambridge uni and a post-graduate diploma in journalism from City.

I’m based in London, and when I’m not writing, I’m roller skating.
