I started out in journalism as a teen, writing live music reviews and making fanzines.
I went on to study philosophy at Cambridge uni, got a diploma in magazine journalism from City, and worked for The London Paper for two years, before going freelance.
During ten years as a freelancer, I’ve written about innovators, artists and adventurers for too many publications and brands to count, including the BBC, Guardian, Huck, Accenture, Red Bulletin and The North Face.
In March 2020 I was awarded a scholarship from the UK and European Space Agencies to take part in an intensive summer programme at the International Space University in Strasbourg. My place has been deferred to summer 2021.
When I’m not writing, I’m roller skating, and sometimes I’m writing about roller skating.
I’m based in London.
