Adventure

Adventure, exploration, action sports and wild spaces: these are topics that inspire me. I love talking to people who are carving out their own path while exploring the world and living life at its limits.

I have travelled around Europe to interview top athletes for Red Bull’s magazine, The Red Bulletin. This has included:

• A cover feature with mountain-biking siblings Rachel, Gee and Dan Atherton (pictured left), whom I met in the hills of Andalucia.
• Climbing aboard a catamaran in Suffolk to interview Ross Edgley during his record-breaking round-Britain swim; following up afterwards with a talk at Red Bull HQ after he completed the feat.
• Camping out in the Welsh countryside with several hundred female bikers to cover the freewheeling ride-outs, wild parties, and community spirit of Camp VC.

As part of The North Face’s campaign “She Moves Mountains, I was commissioned by TCO London to profile four female explorers and athletes. The feature articles were published in print and shared across social-media channels that had a 12.5m reach.
